I read on a forum where caregivers were embarrassed
about elders passing gas.
Why?
How can you not laugh???
They drop their bombs as they walk along
it's hysterical.
I laugh and say there is a duck in the room or something
and my mother goes "Shhhh!" and laughs.
An old guy gets up from a bench outside and drops
bombs as he says goodbye, yep.
Other caregivers are embarrassed by them losing the
ability to use utensils.
I wonder, what would they do if it were a kid?
Not take them out to eat?
Get them a damn sandwich or appetizer finger food !
Now granted, I am not talking about ones who act out
uncontrollably.

Yes GAS is a big THING with elders and boy that can make noise.. you get used to after awhile and don't even notice it UNLESS it smells. They sit so much that their innards have to release a lot of it all at once I was told by a DR one time. They should not laugh it might be them someday..we all get old eventually.
