All 133 residents are COVID Negative

They tested everyone this week .

It is a great accomplishment indeed
Especially with all of whom have dementia, a roommate,
 multiple co-morbidities,
and an inconsistent awareness to practice social distancing.

Day 78 ?

Mom has fallen alone more lately.
I have gotten 2-3 calls stating they have found her sitting on
the floor - un-witnessed falls this month.
This means she is wandering around alone more than before.
Prior to this I would get calls saying she had plopped or slid
down infront of them.

I havent facetimed her in a few weeks
 i have called to check on her but time is
just speeding by !

Day 60

Mom's home has still successfully defended itself against the virus.
They sounded a tad rough around the edges during the careplan
phone meeting.
I wish i could tell them that I wont hold it against them if the
virus makes its way past their doors...
they have fought valiantly.
I think 85% of the nursing homes have it by now,
its only a matter of time.

Mom weighs 123 lb
So tiny :(
I wish I could fill her with goodies
I wish I could share a "cuppa" with her
a cup of tea and cookie and a smile....
