These are things I see on average, just talking...
Older men gather very early in the morning to gossip over coffee.
Women gather in the afternoon.
Men tend to not take care of their bodies, don't change their clothes.
Women take showers and clip their nails or have someone do it for them.
Women change their underwear.
Men unclip the seatbelt long before their destination and sometimes
open the door before car is parked.
whitebread and cookies, candy in their grocery bags.
(Both however would like to eat cookies and sweets all day)
The healthiest elders I know like to eat right and socialize.
They have no problem with adapting to devices such as electric
wheelchairs and hearing aids, instead of isolating themselves because
they feel those items are for the weak.
I hope to learn from the elders that have learned how to be older
instead of denying what is happening.

ALL very true observations.. I would add that neither man or women elders flush the toilet after going and both do tend to think they can drive WAYYY after they shouldn't be doing so.
