She Escaped the Aid !

Yesterday the daytime aid was cleaning the tub and discovered it
was "too quiet".
By that time mother was already at my door.
Thank goodness she came here and not down the stairs.
I opened the door and hugged her as she cried wanting to come in.
The aid finally ran down the hall.
She learned her lesson. Big Time.

We installed a door bell over there and gave them a door-jam, and
put back on the child-safety door knob cover.
She is Quick and devious .
Especially now that the other med is out of her bloodstream.

Last night the night companion said she was up multiple times.
Mother was calmly eating cereal and tea at eight this morning
so I started her back on the Escitalipram 5mg.

The day before, I was in the hallway only to hear/ see my mother's
door opening and closing and a tussle going on . mother popped out and saw
me so i went in....

yesterday i was so full of anxiety i went and found a tree to lay under
and feel the ground beneath me. I watched the clouds and tried so hard
to calm my heart....

The aids tell me she is "an easy case" because she is friendly and allows
strangers in and waves hello at them.
they want to cook for her-
I got rid of everything having to do with cooking. All utensils, pots, foods.

Glad they learned to WATCH her more carefully. She is like a toddler in a way and has to be supervised. That is their JOB right now. I agree with what they said about easy case..some people are so confused they are angry, mean even violent against others.Glad she is not a "yeller" either. Scary. Glad she is still nice and open to others. My dear I sure hope help is coming soon.. you need the break and your body needs it too.Hugs and prayers...
