Was a friday. We were there to sign the admissions papers but it never happened.
The aid called in a panic, I could hear mother yelling in the background.
She was in the hallway banging on doors and yelling and the aid was
beside herself- mother had hurt her!
I blurted something outloud that made the admissions guy say
"You have to LEAVE I am uncomfortable with this situation ! "
(crap)
We flew home and found mother calmly eating a sandwich- Whut?
I told the aid this is it, I am calling ambulance.
I had mom go to the bathroom.
When she came out, the room was full of ambulance personnel-
did she freak? No.
One asked how she was feeling and she pointed at her head
and shook her head as in 'no good'.
the ride she was fine, in the hospital she was fine.....
till I left.
The next day as a Dr miller was speaking to me
mother was screaming like an insane person in the background.
They had her in a "Soma safe enclosure"
Talk about frightening, hearing her...
Anyways, sunday they had to get her to the point of nursing home requirements.
Meanwhile I was in a panic thinking I had lost the bed at the nursing home.
Monday came and so did the phone calls.
Her social worker, the hospital, the nursing home admissions.
She was being released to the home!
We went over, signed the papers, and set up her room
and she arrived.
She had lunch, walked around, and as they were playing a game
we left.

How horrifying. Does she have moments of clarity? Is there medication that can help people with this?
