The VA will not pay for a private room in assisted living.
In a panic we start setting up help to come into his old apartment.
Spending all day on phone with various people. Filling out forms.
So exhausted some days that I cannot get up off couch.
Having to drive out to care for mother also-
Local family will help? No.
Only one drove down to help throwing out stuff from apartment.
