Waiting For Me

When I approached the door I could see mom with her back to me with a person
speaking to her trying to get her to move along.
I came in and the woman said mom had been standing there waiting for someone.
I told her that yes, mom was waiting for me and that we had a 'connection'.
( after mom went into the home I have since had to ignore it because it is too much
for me)
We walked to the kitchen and she counted the cars that went by the window
until lunch came. Thank goodness she still has a great appetite.

I went to her room to see if the flowers were still there, yep-
but the 20 blue mardi gras necklaces were not to be found
and neither was the quilted thing my sister made.

Anyways, mom looked great and was happy.
I made the mistake of going to the store marshalls afterwards and buying stuff
from clearance after I had just been to tj maxx and done the same thing - eek.
