Post Memory Care Placement

I havent visited mom since the last post...
But the place continues to call me about her, trying to get to know her.
They do not realize I am burnt out over her care
and I really do not know why she is doing what she is doing over there.
It is also hard to understand what they are Not telling me.
I got a call from the Dr there yesterday.
He wanted to put her on some meds so "she could participate more"
How can sedating someone make them participate more?
Then he said she is walking a lot, "there she goes by now"....
I responded she likes to be busy with puzzles and coloring, beading,
exercise  and likes walks,
what more can I say? what are they NOT telling me about her behavior?

I guess they dont like her getting up and leaving the table where they are doing something(?)
Maybe she is looking for me?
I dunno, i have to go observe her myself. Last time she was quite happy sitting
at a table eating lunch unattended.
I have to admit there isnt anything to DO in the circular corridor except walk around.
 but thats why i liked it. Maybe she is just exit seeking all the time(?)

So I called and they are trying adavan.
she is stashing things in her pants and cart and being suspicious and resistant
to redirection to use her rollator.
she is also going into other peoples rooms with the same reaction.
The nurse kindly told me that being in this state of mind is uncomfortable
for mom and is much happier today on a quarter dose.
she was sitting listening to a live piano concert when i called.
