After finding dirty underwear on mom's kitchen table I went on a hunt for the laundry basket.
This is a small one bedroom apartment mind you.
I could not find it !!
Well, that is until I did.
That laundry basket was standing up, so far hidden in the closet behind long hanging
clothes--
I had to crawl on my hands and knees to drag it out!!
WTF?!
How the hell and WHY the hell would she DO that?!
...............
Unfortunately things like speech are getting more difficult for her
and apathy is rising.
Getting her going is taking even more time but she is less questioning of my preparation of her.
Zero short term memory, moderate Alzheimer.
.........................
What I am anxious about for a while, is taking my father to the VA hospital for a physical.
Parking over there is hell, the place is big, and he cannot walk.
What if the Dr finds something or wants to admit him?
What if I have to keep bringing him back?
What if he gets pissed off because we will be there for hours.
I will be glad when it is over

Because her memory is gone like it is she KNOWS NOT where to put anything at all..so where she takes it off or on it mostly where you will find it. Yes some very wild and crazy places too.
