Repeatedly Calling

Boy, I don't know how people deal with parents calling-calling-calling.
Both of my parents, if they don't get my home phone will hit my cell.
If my father doesn't contact my sister he will call me.
All this phone calling ontop of robo-calls and important calls
and godforbid I need to close my eyes !
Finally around 8pm I can return the phone to it's cradle.
Speaking of my sister, she wont answer the phone, and unfortunately
for me will tell him she is sick and then if I unknowingly tell him
she is at work- whoops !
I do not feel I can leave the phone off the hook because of my mother
she will think I am on my way over or feel especially alone if she isnt
secure in knowing I am home.
My father freaks out thinking I am dying in a ditch.
Speaking of him, it was sad to find out that he wasn't even aware
we had an election.
