I usually try to encourage my father to get out of his room so that his legs will continue to work. But after last week I think it's better if he stays in there.
He is so belligerent and nasty to the other residents and he cannot blame them for being crazy because he's the one that is.
There is not one resident there, (ok one) who was there when he arrived.
Cripe, some poor old lady tried to maneuver in the elevator and he bumped her into the wall saying she hit him.
OMG he was SO LOUD my ears actually hurt in that tiny elevator.
I could barely speak after that, I was so angry I wanted just to.....

I should have minded my own business two years ago,
things would be alot different..

I swear they do get nasty don't they..be glad he isn't coming on to every old woman he sees. My dad was a pincher and hugger and even if you were standing right there he would do it anyway. He was just terrible and he was only in the stages of kidney failure not dementia.. sheesh.. Hang in there..
