It was wonderful
she lit up when she saw me and began to sing to me
she said "i miss you'
The caregiver played Monday by The Mommas & Papas
and she moved her head back and forth to the tune
and soon she became sleepy.
I am SO thankful for technology!!!!

Soon after this happy event I saw on the news that a COVID-19
patient was from my apartment complex!!
For the first time it occurred to me that I
may be the one to contract this disease...
Not just my mother, whom I have tried to prepare myself for.
The fear of its proximity hit me in the chest.

I'm so happy you were able to communicate with your mother, but I'm sorry your anxiety level has risen. Please try to stay safe and take care of yourself. I do come by your blog from time to time to check on you. I just tip toe in silently and most times you never know I've been here. Today I thought I'd leave you a message. :)
