I visited mom on Sunday as usual.
Her finger nails were poopy and overgrown
so I started with the nail file, which she enjoys
and then the clipper and a wooden tool to clean out the dried poop
underneath. I got a wipe with soap on it and washed her fingers
that had obviously been "places"
She said thank you and was happy with the results.
The aid came over and said mom wouldnt let her clean her
hands.
More than likely the aid had just forced herself on mom
like they always do.
She kept falling asleep and couldnt really focus on the tablet
I bring except when I played "Monday" by The Mamas and the Papas.
She drank 2 yogurt drinks and ate most of her meal,
talked a bit asking questions ( talk salad, but talking)
Monday the home called to tell me they were closed to visitors.
SO thankful I got to see her before this
and I feel real sorry for the husbands and people that missed out
seeing their loved one prior to this.
