It was a shock for me to see her with head back, mouth open
looking so old and small.
I sat near her head and snugged her for a while and stroked her.
She would wake up and fall asleep repeatedly.
Her room mate came in and sat in the chair next to me and
patted my leg.... so all three of sat for a while.
After a very long time of massaging and talking to her I
got a yogurt drink they have and raised the bed up.
Got her periodically awake enough to drink... then awake a couple more seconds,
then I got some juice and aid got her lunch.
All that coaxing took over an hour!
Finally I had a bed table and her sitting up,
second spoonful i fed her she went to eat my hand she was so hungry!
Soon she was trying to eat and drink on her own, finished
lunch and 2 yogurt drinks and two juice.
Two and a half hours and I was spent and had the aid come in
to toilet her.
Exhausting.
She was really out of it at first
