Hahaha! This is everything. It warms my heart seeing that your mom is now in a great facility and especially your mom making new friends. Having friends being there for you makes the journey of life more bearable and way more fun. What she's going through certainly doesn't stop her from enjoying 'shopping sprees'!
I also wanted to say that everything you've done for your parents is absolutely amazing and inspiring. I'm still very young and it's probably strange for me to even be thinking about this kind of thing already, but I really hope I'd be good enough and able to help out my parents whenever they need extra assistance. I really want what's best for them and to meet the end of their journey as painless/with as little suffering as possible.
