I finally made the call last month after fearfully avoiding it for mom.
I could not find anyone to help me choose, being told
"Oh, just go on the internet and get one!"
ya right.
What I ended up doing is calling the same company she had
and switching to the super saver program that has zero premium
if you are receiving extra help.
my whole goal is to get this all settled, then have her pension
go to the home directly. Then I wont have to worry about
mailing the home a payment anymore.
I also want the finance director to look back at an over-billed
over-payment that happened a few months ago.
Thank goodness she gets a copy of the DSS letters that I do-
I received two that said something alarming like a
discontinuance of coverage - what?
I called her and she had taken care of it
It was an ERROR !!!

I am also trying to get my lawyer to call me back so I can get the
checks mailed from dad's trust since it has been six months.
Because of this, I need to figure out how much a cremation burial
costs for mom, so that I can take that amount off the top.
