Mother was quite confused this morning.
At least I can go right over and get her back on track.
unfortunately I am still a-quiver with adrenalin an hour later.
Spoke with a woman here who is going through
this alone with her husband. She takes him out for a
car ride twice a day! She cannot go grocery shopping or
anything any more and her children dont want to stay
with him because they will fight with him.
I cannot imagine going through this without
a computer for information.

I have a feeling that there are many like this in this country. They fall through the cracks because they or their doctors don't get them the right connections for help. Some just don't want anyone else in their homes. My mother was one..but she learned it was fun to interact with new people and faces. When we had therapists coming to the house she really liked it and looked forward to them. Sometimes helpers are not trustworthy and ONE..just ONE experience can ruin it and make people not want ANYONE else in their home. I have seen that so many times. Made me angry that they were paid helpers and DID NOT do their jobs. Glad you and I are and were able to help our parents out.
