Remove Father's Things

The assisted living place where father was living suddenly called
 and said I had to remove his belongings immediately.
Apparently the VA will only hold a bed for a certain number of days while person is in rehab.
You have the option of paying a "bed hold" fee per day.
My boyfriend came and we emptied out the room.
Gave my sister father's checkbook, credit card, clothes and things for new room at
nursing home.
The next day one of the staff called and was extremely rude and accusatory
telling me to return the cable box that was THEIRS.
I was barely awake and told her I had paid for it, and she was nasty.
Finally she recalled delivering a cable bill to his room.
"Sorry, bye" was it.
No, I am not going to complain- they are ALL two-faced over there
and I am more than happy to rid myself of them and that joint.

Only one good thing has come about since my breakdown
Father doesn't call as much and doesn't talk about what I can do for him anymore.
I have not seen him yet, but will at the meeting with sister
Monday at the nursing home.
