I spent a while sitting and sewing at my mother's the other day.
I noticed how she would move from one distraction to the next.
I had fixed her lunch and she would recognize that, then go check the damp laundry hanging, then go check something else, not focusing on one thing.
It is like the ultimate case of Attention Deficit Disorder.
It really makes me think this is what she does all night and why she is always tired in the morning. I do recall she said that she goes into her bedroom at night to go to bed and ends up finding things to do. She repeatedly says her bedroom doesn't feel like a bedroom- I have no idea what she means!

She might be (in her mind) thinking it is not her room because it does not look like the room she had in her old house or her past. My Gram was so confused because she kept wanting to go back to her OLD HOUSE..the one in Tenn and she had lived in Ca for 50 years. They are a lot in another time and place. Yes, you won't know what really goes on with her unless you stay over night and watch what happens. They often are up most of the night awake even if they are not moving about. Gram laid in bed and turned the bedside light off and on all night long. We heard her up and down when we stayed with her. It was exhausting for us and she only catnapped in the daytime to catch up. Just so hard to hear them say they "want to go home" and they are at home already. Hugs to you...
thank you ((hug))
this place isn't as nice at all to the apartment she was in. her windows looked out on nature and now dumpsters :( But it is half the price and I am here. This sounds like what she may be doing all night poor girl.
